Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stax Four mobile application (the "App") and this website (the "Site"), provided by ByteLathe ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Site.

License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you downloaded the App.

Purchases and "Stax Four Pro"

The App is free to download and play. It offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, "Stax Four Pro," which unlocks additional features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. You may restore a previous purchase using the "Restore Purchases" option.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law.
• Use the App or Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Cheat, exploit, disrupt, or interfere with online multiplayer, other players, or our systems.
• Submit false, abusive, or harmful content through our contact form or any other channel.

Online Play

Online multiplayer features rely on Apple Game Center and require a compatible device and network connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of online features and may modify or discontinue them at any time.

Intellectual Property

The App, the Site, and all related content, including artwork, audio, code, and the "Stax Four" name and logo, are owned by ByteLathe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App or Site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteLathe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App or Site. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App or Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or Site if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
